Available multipliers for Asian side stations in the All Asian DX Contest are the ARRL DXCC entities. It is not the same as WAE or CQWW but the same as that for the W/VE side stations in ARDX. It is confusionl for participants and many contest logging software developers. Following examples will help all of participants to edit their scores manually, and also helps software developpers to evaluate their own programs.
As they are defined as separate entities in the WAE countries list, they are counted separately in WAE and CQWW contests. But these entities are defined as the same ones respectively in the ARRL DXCC entities list.
As IT9 is listed separately from I in the WAE countries list, they are counted separately in WAE and CQWW contests. As IG9 is located in the Africa, it is not listed in the WAE countries list but counted as a different multiplier in CQWW contest. But all of them are described as the same entity in the ARRL DXCC entities list.
As TA is in the Asia but TA1 is in the Europe, TA is not listed in the WAE countries list but TA1 is available. In CQWW contest, TA1 is separately counted from TA.
Another confusion is about TA0. TA2-9 are the Asian portions of Turkey, but TA0 is used in both the European Turkey Islands and the Asian ones. All participants should be concerned about the QTH of TA0 stations if they worked.
JD1/Minamitorishima is in the Oceania. They are separately listed in the ARRL DXCC entities list. So Asian side stations can count both entities for multipliers respectively, and non-Asian station can count JD1/Ogasawara only. But it's almost impossible to classify stations by watching their callsign. All participants should be concerned about the QTH of JD1 stations if they worked.
